1. Introduction

Polyverge ("we", "us", "our") operates the website polyverge.io and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from your authentication provider (Google, GitHub, or email). We store this information to manage your account and subscription.

Inquiry Data

We store the questions you submit, the AI-generated responses, scores, and synthesis results. This data is associated with your account (or session for anonymous users) and is used to provide your inquiry history, statistics, and shared result pages.

Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVC on our servers. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your tier. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how Stripe handles payment data.

Usage Data

We track daily inquiry counts for rate limiting purposes. We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and maintain the Service; manage your account and subscription; enforce rate limits and feature gating; display your inquiry history and statistics; generate shareable result pages when you use the share feature; process payments via Stripe; and communicate important changes to the Service or these policies.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

When you submit an inquiry, your question is sent to the following third-party AI providers for processing:

Anthropic (Claude) · OpenAI (GPT) · Google (Gemini) · xAI (Grok)

Each provider processes your query under their own privacy policy and terms of service. We encourage you to review their policies. We do not send your personal account information (name, email) to AI providers — only the question text and system prompts.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Authentication tokens are managed via NextAuth.js using JWT sessions. Email delivery for magic link authentication is handled by Resend. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies only. A session cookie is set by NextAuth.js to maintain your authenticated session. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are used. Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function, they do not require consent under applicable privacy laws.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on a secured server with SSL encryption for all connections. Passwords are not stored as we use OAuth and magic link authentication exclusively. API keys are hashed before storage. While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

Account information is retained as long as your account is active. Inquiry history is retained indefinitely to provide your archives and statistics. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, contact us at admin@polyverge.io and we will process your request within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and request a copy of your data in a portable format. 9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via the email associated with their account. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised.
